For food I give 5 stars because of the portion size for the price. Otherwise it's what you'd expect for breakfast for a kitchen that pumps out hundreds of omelettes and other breakfast fare a week; they know what they're doing. Although the place was busy, there was sufficient space between tables. Our server was friendly, but lacked focus. It took at least 5 minutes to get coffee. And another 5 just to get ketchup and salsa after my food was delivered. This was because she'd take a few orders before fetching the coffee or condiments. Again, she was super friendly, as was the person who showed us our table. I think there's just a bit of room for improvement for prioritization. In short, yes I would recommend this diner. And if I'm ever passing through the area again in the morning, I'll definitely stop by for breakfast again.
I recently visited this restaurant, expecting it to be just another breakfast spot, but I was genuinely surprised. The portions were generous—my wife and I only managed to eat half of our food, and I was only able to finish one pancake. Everything tasted great, except for the bland biscuits and gravy, but other than that, they would have truly earned five stars. The service was friendly, and our food arrived at a good pace, making our experience even more enjoyable.
We came here for brunch with a two year old. The food was decent with large portions, even my senior omelette seen in the picture was a lot of food with toast (or other bread side) included. I enjoyed the biscuits we got as a side and their pancakes are huge (you can even order the "world's largest"). I liked that their drinks come in huge mugs. Service was friendly but mixed in promptness. I would definitely come again.
Stopped in for my first time. It was a'ight. I had the chilaquiles with asada and eggs over easy, my boy Lavron had corn beef hash and eggs over easy and hash browns with biscuits and gravy. Service was excellent. Estrella was terrific very personable. The joint still had Independence day decorations up and it's August. We thought that was funny cuz it was decked out. I didn't take pics or vidz today but should have. It was okay. The chilaquiles were okay. Not the worst I've ever had. I'll try this spot out again but definitely not going to have the chilaquiles.
On a lil restrictive diet per my Naturopath, so was happy that I was able to at least order an omelette, which wasn't bad. Wish they had a few more options to add to it, but all in all, good food. The rest of the family ordered from Scrambled egg breakfast w/hash browns, to Menudo & Pozole.
What a great little spot for an early breakfast. I arrived early, 7:30 am, and it was nice and quiet. There was only one other table seated. I had the corn beef hash and eggs. I added green chile and had a side of salsa, which was soooo flavorful! Their freshly squeezed orange juice was refreshing, and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for homestyle cooked food. I'm only visiting, but I'm going to be back again before I leave. Thank you for the great experience!
